Isabel964
I saw this awesome huge bag/cushion on the Great Dane Rescue website and thought it an awesome bag for my Kelpie who is getting old now and I'd like her to have something nice to rest her weary bones upon. Dog beds I buy get chewed or flat or dirty....they have quite limited lifespan and they are not cheap. I saw these these and wanted them. I have ordered two Apparently they sell fast. Here is an exert from the advert and the link to CatchoftheDay http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/smallfish_info.php?products_id=43227 "Whatever your situation, consider any and all cushion-related dilemmas solved - this giant foam bag is weather and water resistant, so you can drag it out to the pool and laze about between dips in the water without worrying about it getting wet. It has a removable tough outer cover and it can survive the exuberant activities of children and dogs. The soft yet dense memory foam crumb filling is thick enough for as many floor dives as you want to throw at it, not to mention that you won't have to go and buy extra polystyrene beans." Alyosha
It will be interesting to see if they really do stand up to dog treatment...
Maddy
It will be interesting to see if they really do stand up to dog treatment... The question is.. is your vacuum cleaner really up to hoovering up huge amounts of foam? I have bought so many dog beds and have found that the majority are really only suited to dogs who do nothing rougher to their beds than maybe jumping on them. We have a bed tester at the moment (the lovely Doug) whose record for killing a bed is about five minutes- Four minutes and thirty seconds to notice the bed was there, thirty seconds to reduce it to a pile of shredded fabric and chunks of foam. A lot of manufacturers have a slightly different idea of "indestructable", I think.

Yep, sounds like our house  Every bed I buy, foam, stuffing, trampoline etc....they all get destroyed sooner or later. I've given up and now they can sleep on the floor or the couch....or my bed
D & D
It will be interesting to see if they really do stand up to dog treatment... I have two for my Danes and there's been no destruction. The covers really are strong! Some dogs find them a bit slippery though. I've made an upholstery fabric pillowcase for one. Both dogs still use both beds ETA picture Edited January 6, 2012 by itsmeg

D & D
where do you get the beds I can't find them? COTD puts them up every week or two, just keep checking back and they'll pop up Edited January 6, 2012 by itsmeg
