labadore
To me there is nothing more beautiful than a Labrador which is my breed of choice and I just love the way they look. They are quite simply a stunningly beautiful looking dog, particularly an intact Black Lab male in his prime in great condition with impeccable pedigree (i.e. bred to standard and by Breeders who have been around for awhile who not only breed structurally sound healthy Labradors with beautiful temperaments, but Labradors who actually look like a Labrador should). I have always loved the look of the Labrador through all their life stages from the beautiful, gorgeous, adorable pups to the stunning developing youngsters (18months to 3 years old), the beautiful adults in their prime to the greying, dignified, gorgeous elderstatesmen (seniors). I never get tired of admiring my beautiful breed at any age, it gives me great pleasure just watching them :).

How can ya pick on looks alone. Can't you just "see" the faces of people rocking up to the gate and having THOSE hounds run out to bark and say G'day! I lurvvve all dogs - and if I had one of each, I can just imagine the work - and the feed bill!

sandgrubber
No go. A dog is a friend and a living being that must work into my own values and lifestyle. I would never choose a breed on looks alone. As the saying goes: "beauty is as beauty does". I cannot select a breed without the 'does' characteristics.
megan_
No one is saying they'd select a dog on looks alone! It is a hypothetical and is really about which breeds are the best looking
