Karliew
Hi everyone I'm new to this so forgive me if there is already a discussion about this topic. My 2 1/2 yr old male Chocolate Lab, Marley (he's a pound puppy and came with that name); has skin allergies. After a few visits to the vet we are doing a food elimination test so he is on the kangaroo and potato diet. I have survived the first week. My question is, if they are boiled, can my dog eat the potato skins or am I better to peel the potatoes. Obviously I'm looking for as much time saving as I can with this diet but naturally I will do what is best for my boy. Thanks Karlie
Sandra777
IMO this would be a question for the vet who suggested the diet. My guess would have been skins on as there's lots of nutrients in potato skins, but honestly, ask the vet.
Dogsfevr
also watch for increased weight loss,Roo is good but is very lean & many dogs can not survive on it & loss to much weight
Karliew
thanks everyone, he's only on it for 6 weeks as he could lose too much weight.
