Photo was taken inside and I only have the little on camera flash at present. It took a while of shifting the light around before I was happy with it. I did manage to get the camera out the other week when I went to Melbourne for a birthday treat. So rather than drop out I will post these. MnD: Im not a cat person, but I love drawing cats and the great detail in their coat & eyes. Blue eyes are such a treat. I grew up with a cat like Max. My mission is to get my mojo back and keep up to date! Both of these were taken this weekend, same subject - my mum's kitten Jude. My sister gave Jude to my mum as a surprise gift for mother's day, he's a pet shop special. Coz don't ya know that pedigree animals are all neurotic?? When Jude met Kuma 22/52 by KumaAkita, on Flickr They did not get along at all - I knew it was destined for failure, but my mum was convinced that a 50kg Akita who has never been around small fluffy animals would be just hunky dory. Anyway, nearly ended badly... but fortunately it all ended up a-ok. 23/52 by KumaAkita, on Flickr Jude really is a cute little thing, very affectionate.
