Great pics everyone I've been very inspired by Snook to have a go at the close up eye pics this week. I am removing them and only looking this year! :cry: Nah kidding but mine ARE shit compared to some of them I am all of a sudden having trouble getting sharpness with my 7d, i am not sure if it is the lens, the settings or me. maybe all 3? Keep shooting and you'll soon get there Try photographing something static, like a label on a bottle and see how the focus is. huga Posted January 8, 2012 Share Posted January 8, 2012 Thank you Camera on a tripod, self timer on. Then I used flash, off to the right (held by my husband and aimed at me - kind of cheating, I know). Then I had to edit out his arm and the flash, because it was just in the edge of the frame on the right. There was a post box I got rid of too, but mostly it really was that dark.
