mumof4girls Posted December 18, 2011 Share Posted December 18, 2011 Hi guys I just had thought .. I have been buying packs of turkey necks and chicken necks to stock up. I just realised that my intention for them will be to blend them up and put in kongs and freeze .My question is can I do this if they have been frozen already ?? Guess if they can't then I'll need to rethink this , I know I can chop them up and feed as is but I want my boy to work for it.. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Kobi'sDaisy Posted December 18, 2011 Share Posted December 18, 2011 As long as meat is de-frosted outside of the "danger zone" (ie. a fridge rather than microwave) you are able to re-freeze and consume. Quite often if the daily kill was not enough to fill the orders the frozen chicken was thawed the night before and sold as fresh chicken.
