mixeduppup
I see so many people advertising a dog they found and always comment that they should at least take it to the vet and check for a microchip, to which they reply (and I mean all the time) "but she/he might have one" to which I reply "well yes, someone is probably missing him/her and they could be reunited". I did this recently and the girl was adamant that she couldn't "feel" one so it didn't have one and she would keep him. I didn't know the girl and it was on facebook so just told her it was against the law to keep a stray and she could be fined a large sum and left it at that. hopefully she came to her sense and those people got their very nice looking liver and white BC back. WExtremeG
I've recently joined fb, and the amount of people who won't take found pets to the pound is astonishing- and very disappointing. One said that the pound was full of diseases and ticks ticks?!- where the hell do these people get their information from? I've removed myself (from these sorts of groups) as I couldn't bear the stupidity...
