Guest Arcane
http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/news/breaking-news/dogs-attack-and-kill-family-pets-at-attwood/story-e6frea73-1226204808608 TWO dogs have been killed in a rampage by other dogs in Melbourne's northern suburbs. The animals pounced at Attwood at 10.10am today, killing two dogs in the backyard of a house in Harricks Cres. The aggressors then escaped and wounded two other dogs. One of the injured dogs was treated by a vet. The whereabouts of the second dog is not known. Hume Council rangers were sent to the scene and caught the animals responsible. The council's city infrastructure director Steve Crawley confirmed the case and said council was speaking to the owners of the dogs that were killed and injured. "Council offers our deepest condolences to the family of the dogs that died. We appreciate that a pet is part of the family and this is a sad way to lose a beloved animal," Mr Crawley said. "A full investigation will now determine whether further proceedings are warranted."
