LizT
Okay so Crystals favourite thing has never been going onto wet grass in the morning. She often hesitates and steps gingerly onto it to pee and poo. But then she is a bit of a Princess, ask anyone who knows her But now and for the past few weeks she is refusing outright to step onto the grass and has been pooing on the front wooden deck and peeing just on the edge of the grass/path where the pee then runs onto the path. Very annoying. So I've had to clean up after her, especially as OH lets her out in the morning when I'm at work and I find the evidence when I get home. No problem in the afternoon when the grass is dry, just mornings and late at night before bed. So this morning, being Sunday I decided to take her out on the lead, she was reluctant but peed and pooed on the lawn. Good girl Crissy! That was at 5.30 am then when we both got up again at 8.00 am I sleepily let her out the front door thinking she needs to pee as she just had a drink. After a couple of minutes I see her standing at the front door and go over to let her in. What is she doing? Having what appears to be a little pee on the decking. Yep, she's left a wee puddle!! Well, I'm going to tell OH to take her out on the lead now anyway as she is a few weeks away from whelping her bub(s)so we can control this problem but I just find it so weird that she's gone all..."Oh, no no wet paws pleeeze" at this time" With no real problem over winter or previous years (she's three next month). Ah, well I know I had some bizarre likes and dislikes during my pregnancies so I so understand.

She doesn't mind the rain dropping on her either???
Jetpoint GSP
My bitch Mia has a VERY BIG dislike of wet paws. If it is raining she will not even poke her nose out of her kennel or out from underneath the house just in case she gets wet paws. The ONLY exception is if it is walk time, in that situation all bets are off and she runs out IN THE RAIN, ON THE WET GRASS to the gate ready to go off for her walk. Go figure....I will never understand. She also loves swimming..... Her daughter is a wet freak, LOVES sprinklers, water, wet grass, just being wet! I think there are just some things I will never understand!

This girl of mine has no qualms about strutting her stuff on the wet grass in the Show Ring, and Being a Cavalier the grass is always still wet and sometimes a tad long(ish).
