Can I just say once you have your little Pom you will be a complete convert, addictive little buggers they are!

Even i've noticed that! I just love the little pom that we have at the moment. The 'foster' dog that is still here 8mths later :o. Little sucker!

Wherezaball - love that pic ;)

The more I see Aussies, the more I think they're just like big poms really (with floppy ears who probably bark less). ;)

Admit it, you're keeping the pom

I really need to find a big dog to socialise my girl with as she's only really been around smaller dogs and her first interaction with a big dog (my first dog park experience) was 2 huskies that came bolting to 'say hello' which left one squealing pup. poor thing. Need to start obedience school in January I think which should get her around dogs of all shapes and sizes.

I really need to see this vid her playing with the big dogs if you ever work out how to do it :)

Been meaning to ask does anyone know who the dog is in the GIO Insurance ad which was mentioned at the beginning of this post?

Also, wanted to say Red Aussie's rock too....think you need some red ones in your next photo shoot Gayle

OK I recognize the amazing looking red dogs, the doonah and the sheets!!!

Seems there are 2 Aussies on the bed now........

Guess I need to get comfy on the couch!!!

Me the Great Dane Cross and what room is left !!!!

MEN Beware, Aussies will move in and take your side of the bed when you least expect it!!!!!

Can I just say that the blue merle Aussies are the only dog that I think could sway me from a Lappie as my next dog - so as a compromise i think I will just have to get one of each

There seems to be a few admirers of the Aussies among the Lappie people I know. If I had known about Aussies before I got a Lappie it might have been a very difficult decision! They'd go well with a Lappie ;)

Moving on from the Pom Grooming thread, how gorgeous is Leo?? Any more pics of him?

There is a TV ad on at the moment for insurance. It has an Aussie on it who is gorgeous but he almost looks a little photo shopped as across his muzzle looks so wide? Has anyone seen it and is he a good example of an Aussie.? I'm just curious because he's lovely but something about his muzzle looks odd - maybe the camera has added those extra kilos there

The Aussie from the GIO ad is Hazard.

Hazard is closely related to Leo, Ripley and Dusty. Probably Tahlia and Kinta as well.

Hehe - yup Hazard would be Tahlia's Uncle, Zara's Cousin, and a more distant relative of Leo and Kinta through Gideon (Moonstrucks Star Slayer)... too lazy to figure that one out specifically
