My two only need an occasional brush so they usually sit in my cupboard as well, but they seem to work quite well better quality then i thought they would be. Someone accidentally chewed the handle off one of my slicker brushes (not looking at any particular greyhound in any particular avatar :D ) Not that it was even her brush! but the handle sure was tasty.
