Leithy
Here's an update, Jess is home, with an elizabethian collar on or what ever it is called to stop her itching her eyes- good chance left eye will be removed due to ?ulceration near the cornea, but the right one should still be ok. Saw her over webcam today, poor thing looks like she's aged about 5 years- she's almost eight years and is doing pretty well. Being very sooky and mum is giving her lots of TLC Mum is missing Smegel, she spends a lot of time at home alone but thankfully Jess is pulling through strongly. Thanks for all your support and thoughts guys!!!
raz
Does your mum know what caused the ulceration? Goodluck with her. If she was envenomated it's best to keep her quiet now for a few weeks. As for your recovery time question - my jacks were envenomated by a RBB and it took over 9 months for complete recovery I dont understand why the vet would have said AV was pointless - that just seems really bizarre.
