sheena
I used to feed my BC girl VAN for about three years, plus meat, plus RMB's, plus supplements (livamol, joint guard, garlic powder & fish oil) & she did well on it, but I always had to mix something yummy in with it to get her to eat it. I only switched her when I found something better, something she loved to eat & was also good for her & I no longer had to add supplements. If I hadn't found this "other" food, I would definately still have her on VAN. Edited November 4, 2011 by sheena
Alibi
I feed my dog this, i mix it with human grade roo meat from the supermarket. She loves it and does really well on it, her coat is fantastic and her poos are great on it, i really notice a difference if i run out and have to feed other food with runny poos. Nekhbet
I have a lot of people come in at work and adore it. Even on allergy dogs. Saying that if your dog does have extreme allergy problems you should be consulting a specialist to have it sorted properly. I find the formula is better then it used to be. We feed all ferrets on the Nutritional powder and raw meat, they look magical on it. The skin and coat formula does the trick too with my dogs. jakeyjangels
I feed it to both mine for breakfast every morning with a dollop of natural yoghurt & livarmol mixed in. My older boy's breeder started feeding VAN so I have continued. Both my Labs do really well on it.
JulesP
I guess it depends what your dog is sensitive to. Amber is allergic to brewers yeast so this product didn't work for her. You can usually pick up sample of it if you want to try it.

Jumabaar
I use it for all my dogs. The only thing to be aware of is that it can put condition on your dog very easily! I use it to keep my Kelpies weight up when I am doing a lot of work, I also find it keep their coats nice and shiny but it may also reflect the natural diet in general. OSoSwift
I tried it on my Whippet bitch and it caused sloppy poo and flatulence which she did not have before, nor has after. Edited November 6, 2011 by OSoSwift
Dr Bruce Syme
Hi Luckypup If you do try a Vets All Natural diet, just remember how important it is to switch over slowly if you are already feeding a processed diet (tin or dry). Up to 2 weeks Dr Syme recommends. Dogs digestive systems operate differently when on either a natural diet or a processed diet. The stomach needs time to re establish a correct pH and build up the good bacteria required for raw food digestion (not heat treated processed food). Undigested food in the large colon can cause all sorts of issues. This advice is applicable for anyone switching from processed to any raw diet. Luckypup please feel free to PM us and we can email you the 6 week Skin Protocol, which has instructions for introducing the diet, and then how to wean your dog off the diet, and remain itch free, once the immune system is settled. The diet has a 70% success rate in curing allergies with diet alone.

Dr Bruce Syme
We are currently discussing with Troy advertising opportunities. Sorry if we have trod on anyone's toes as we have tried to just be reactive when people discuss our products, company or beliefs.

minyvlz
I would use this product again if it had a grain-free version.
marina
Love it. I use on my adult dogs and also on my puppies. I recommend it to all my puppy buyers. I also give a VAN puppy pack to all puppy buyers. I mix mine with chicken and roo mince and my dogs love it. Change over to it gradually and you can also start with a smaller quantity and then increase to recommended quantity.

Guest Panzer Attack!
My dog is fed mostly VAN (Puppy) and he looks incredible. I am SO happy with this product after trying others and being thoroughly unimpressed. I've put my ex's dog onto the Weight Loss as he can't seem to shift weight no matter what dry food he's on and when he was on VAN before (when we were living together) he dropped a lot of weight and looked just stunning. I buy the Complete Mix (it has green tripe in it!!!) directly from work cos I'm lazy and asked nicely for my boss to get it in for me and we've shifted a fair amount of it since we got it in! The only downer is that it's more expensive than feeding dry, but I have small dogs so it's not that much of an issue. I'm going to switch over to their treats once our treat jar is empty too, he loves them and there's no crap in them. I've also used the VAN joint formula and was very happy with it. Bit of a Dr Symes fan :D E x
Alibi
Panzer Attack, i would be checking the levels of sulfer dioxide in the made up one as the "VAN Pet Cafe" one was in the courier mail with the super high levels in it. Though i have heard the Pet Cafe one bought the recipe from Dr Bruce to market it under their company name (even though Dr Bruce's name is still on it). When it first came out the guy at the Pet Cafe proudly told me how before its opened it doesnt need to be refriderated It maybe different to the VAN meat in the green packet. Would love to hear from the VAN rep on here regarding this I still love the product but just like to make it up myself so i know there is definatly no preservatives. Scarlett Dog
We tried it with our typically sensitive bull terrier. Not a winner. Decided to go grain free & stick to BARF. The omega supplement is good, along with the immunity booster. The complete mix was no good for us.
