Puppy With Diffrent State Papers,,

We purchased a show puppy from Queensland for my eldest child and she came registered with QLD papers in his name. She was shown in VIc and NSW with no problems as the handler was a registered junior member of Dogs Vic.

Before we lodged application for title we transferred her to Victorian registration as otherwise I understand we would have had to apply for the certificate from Dogs QLD.

Just seemed to make it easier (and more expedient) having both parties registered with the one state body.

I had a bitch come to me with ACT papers registered straight into my name... but I'm not sure if they paid the transfer fee and had the papers reissued in my name, before they sent the papers or if they put it straight into my name.

I'd love to be able to put pups straight into owners name, and if there are any unsold puppies by the time you apply for the litter registration paperwork, they can go into my (the breeder) name.
