gambier
I have a 6 month old american staff. For the last month or more one of her ears have been acting differently ti the other. It doesnt seem to move quite freely and often seems to lean forward when the other is laying back. The ear aldo tends to sit across her head while the other is standing at alert. I thought she might grow out of it but doesnt seem to be changing. When she got desexed they tattoed inside her ear. Could that have caused it? What can i do or should she grow out of it? Rysup
Their ears will be all over the place when they are teething. You can tape the ears if it worrys you. They may or may not go back to normal.
Shaar
My boys ears were all over the place while he was teething, up down up down up down. They eventually set correctly once all his adult teeth came through. I fed him calcium but I would talk to your breeder/vet before adding anything like that as mine is a full prick eared breed and not heavy boned. persephone
ears can look very odd at this teen phase - but usually settle

WreckitWhippet
In the case of Amstaffs, they don;t usually settle. If you get one or both that have pricked or dropped, they will most likely stay that way. You need to tape or glue them from as early as 6-8 weeks, to get them right. If your not showing, it's not really worth the effort and at 6 months, you've probably missed the boat , when it comes to taping
Dame Aussie
I think of it as part of them, a quirk that makes them special
