My girl trains once a week at a club, my boy up to 3 times a week at a club. A few minutes at home every night. Walks everyday, trick training and games (eg go find the target stick). Agility, Obedience, Tracking, Flyball, Lure Coursing, Herding, Retrieving, Field Trials, Rally-O, Dances With Dogs, Trieball and more! Some are ANKC competitive sports, some have several organisations, some are just gaining recognition as a competition and some are just for fun! Some are restricted to certain breeds, but many are available to all breeds and mixes. I currently do agility, obedience, retrieving, field trials, utility gundog work and a bit of showing with my boys. Sports you can do: With ANKC main reg purebreed Conformation showing With all dogs and get a title in competition : Obedience Agility Flyball Dances With Dogs (heelwork to music and freestyle) Rally Obedience ETA: Tracking! I've started running her to look at getting her endurance title next year. Am also considering taking her to do some herding workshops.
