Kennel Cough

Argh!

At the vets for my pups 2nd vaccination, in the waiting room with mine on my lap and another very large pup comes in, unruly, jumping everywhere with an owner in zero control. That's not my issue though :(

The pup bounds up to me and then unloads his chest contents right near us. Yep, he's at the vet with kennel cough.

Anyone know of anything I can do to lessen the chances of the virus taking over my pups system? He got the KC vaccine today.

I'm being precious but I swear I could see particles floating through the air.

Nope nothing you can do and I would not have vaccinated the pup for KC, as you have already exposed your puppy too it. There's a good chance that your pup will come down with KC. Treat with cough medicine and manuka honey 20+.

Thanks, I will start on the Manuka tonight but I could only find +16. That is what I was after, something that won't do him any harm but I can try and be proactive.

I can get Linctol, but I will wait to see if the cough develops.

The guy just walked in off the street, no appointment. There was no one on reception for a short while. I went and waited outside, the guy gave me such filthy look. Sigh.
