Roo Meat - Where To Get It In Sydney Area?

About 6 months ago I had no trouble buying nice juicy Kangaroo tails from http://www.justfood4dogs.com.au/, but they have not had any available now for months. My dog loves the stuff and I like her to have some game meat in her diet, so where else is it available in Sydney?

I know there's a supermarket packaged product that says "Roo meat" on the front while the smallprint says "Roo and other meat", i.e. God knows what and that just isn't good enough. I'm looking for roo meat off the bone, or 100% roo mince.

Try the Petcare2000 stores. They do roo mince and roo chunks. They prepare it at the Taren Point and the Wetherill Park stores. I pay around $21-$22 for 5kg.

I buy my roo mince from the meat department at our local Woolies supermarket for my 2 fur kids. Human grade. $8 a kilo but at least I know it is roo meat of high quality.

Ditto poster above. It comes in 1kg bags and lasts my mutts for a week or so. I just buy a tin of mackeral for my fussy Min Pin girl. :p

Petcare 2000 in Taren Point often has tails and roo shanks as well. The shanks are great. Meaty and there's a little marrow up for grabs as well. Just gotta watch the bones as they tend to splinter.

I just bought 5kg of mince from Petbarn that was labelled 70% roo, 30% beef and tripe. It's packed by the All Vet Natural company, which is supposed to be preservative free AFAIK. It seems pretty good quality. Cost about $25.
