Well Marie is currently staying with her beau's owner so I will jump the gun with you. Hoping also for a mating next week - sounds like they've come in about the same time. Fingers crossed we get to compare notes but I'm a lot more relaxed this time around.

  • 2 weeks later...

GIPFEL is hoping for a litter around December 16th. We're trying to not get too excited as we've been in a very big famine for pups for a LONG time now!

Another possible mating may happen next week, putting GIPFEL up to try once again around the end of December.

Well, here we go again.....(maybe) GIPFEL is HOPING for puppies December 24th. I'm not getting too excited about anything at this point.

As well one of my girls is in season and will be mated, but by the time she's ready, I"m thinking it will be a January litter if she get preggy.

Our litter of White Swiss Shepherd Dogs 'Kesari of Skah Dakota' and 'Aus CH Vållgardens Ghostly Gladiator' has been confirmed.

We will be expecting a reasonable to large sized litter early December!

Yay whee.gif

For more information see the advert under the Breed Section of DOL

Sitting here at the moment thinking "yeah I think she is" and then "nah I think she isn't"..... 3 weeks Thursday from natural tie, 3 weeks today from fresh AI, 3 weeks tomorrow from fresh AI..... Ultrasound booked for Saturday. Trying really hard to think negatively but as she is 5 in April this probably our last try.

There should be a magic 8 ball that could tell us!

Or maybe we need to breed dogs that let us know the minute they have implanted, and are in fact pregnant. some kind of code..

Like bumping your nose, left hand then your belly...

Trisven, you can handle that huh, you can do it? lol

 sure thing!

Today I'm looking at her compared to my other bitch and she definitely looks thicker in the ribs than Daphne which she doesn't normally BUT I'm still not convinced that I'm not imagining it. On the weekend a more experienced breeder who has a much more "relaxed" view of things told me I was crazy to get an ultrasound because if I just wait another week it will be obvious. How true is that? Or should I have an ultrasound because we had a natural tie and then two fresh AI's 3 & 4 days later? Part of me is terrified of the ultrasound having the same result as last year - which I admit is stupid because if she isn't pregnant, putting the ultrasound off isn't going to change it
