Terrier Grooming | Hand Stripping

Hi, we have 2 Lakeland Terriers who require hand stripping. Since moving to Sydney, we have tried several groomers who don't seem to understand the concept of 100% hand stripping and will only strip small portions fo the dog before taking the clippers to them.

Does anyone know of a groomer who offers a 100% hand stripping service in Sydney? Preferably North Shore but we're not fussy

Very few groomers will do a full hand strip due to the time required plus to do it correctly means doing so over weeks not one session.

Why not do it yourself if the coats are good you could roll it ,it isn't gard to do yourself & way cheaper .

We hand strip as groomers but we don't do full hand strips to skin because unless the owners are working on the coat in between its not worth the effort for us

You might have better luck, if you look on the DOL breeder pages for a terrier breeder in your area who can either strip the dogs for you or show you how it is done - it isn't difficult, just very labour intensive and hard on the body to strip dogs when you are a pro groomer (especially when like me, you have stripped dogs at home to keep groomed too!)
