Ooops forgot to post back here. We had a great time at the grand prix and my dogs did some lovely runs  had great company, love the venue and the really cool weather too!

Sheena I saw you, but wasn't sure if it was you or not and chickened out of asking :o 2 very sweet looking BC's you have :)

Agility Dogs, I saw you but didn't get a chance to say hi, did see Xena do some lovely runs tho!

Love the videos everyone! My Raffy is in Tailwag's weaving video, the big black hairy thing after Tully and before littler black and hairy Dash.

Can't wait for next year!!

What was the surface like to run on? I've never run on anything other than grass.

I LOVE the surface. Sometimes it's a bit hard to pull up 90+kg and turn, but the dogs seem to love it and really it doesn't chop up that much. sometimes the big dogs cause a bit of a headache around the weavers, but overall I think people and dogs love it. (Just sux having dogs with white on them!)

Thanks :) I only weigh around 43 kg so might not be the same when I turn  Sounds interesting - hopefully I'll get to try it out sometime!

Love the surface! kinda like the hard wet sand at the beach only it stuck together even better, and unlike our grass where there were often little holes to worry about tripping in, it was nice and flat. Dogs loved it too, I found mine took a run or so to get used to it and we had a bar in both their first runs, but otherwise great

Thanks dso sorry I'm a little all over the place ATM.. Go me lol

That's a great video you have put together. I remember when you first started with Den, & it doesn't seem that long ago. He is an amazing dog & you are a great handler. I wish I could have started in this sport when I was young :( I put together a video of most of my runs at the GP, but it was too big to upload...it would have taken all my GB quota for the month. What I did notice while putting it all together though, was, first thought, "what crappy runs", but then I noticed that in each run we only made one mistake, costing us a "Q" each time. I did find it a bit more difficult to run with the several layers of clothing I had on  The dog had it all together, just that the handler lost it...but we had fun & that's what it is all about & it's good when someone takes a video of your runs so you can play it back later. Can't wait for next year.
