RealityBites
I am in Maryborough and just wondering if there are any decent obedience clubs in the area? Don't mind travelling to Bendigo or Ballarat. Would prefer a club that had a behaviourist available as I work with foster dogs, and some come with 'issues'! Thanks
RuralPug
Talk to the people at Ballarat Dog Obedience Club Inc. to see if you would be a good fit there. Best thing is to just roll up (dogless first time maybe) on any Sunday morning at the Victoria Park grounds (near the stockmarket end). They also have a website you can wade through bdoc. Then you could do the same for the Bendigo Obedience Dog Club (sorry I don't know when/where they meet) and choose the club that you feels best suits your needs. Thanks for that, will try Ballarat first, then Bendigo. Cheers!

Thanks I don't believe there is anyone who would fit the behaviourist description at BDOC. Try PM'ing Pippi on here, she lives in that general area and will be able to help you. Erny
but speaking of Ballarat, I'm planning to head up there for a few days sometime in April, I think. Planning on bringing my dog. What are good walking areas?
Guest Clover
Erny if you want a ok walk and something quite touristy, Lake Wendouree. Anywhere along the Yarowee creek is quite nice as well.
Nekhbet
Pity Geelong is a long way for you ... I'd say you're more then welcome, we're actually working towards a partnership with a whole new rescue group to help rehabilitate the dogs for new homes
Erny
Thanks Nekhbet. Lol .... be careful - one day I might hold you to that invitation :D. I'm familiar (to an extent) with the partnership you're speaking about. It is a pity it is away from me far enough to make it difficult on a frequent basis. But I guess you never know - nothing's impossible :). Well, that's my optimistic motto, anyway :D. ETA: Nekhbet - were you talking to me? I don't think you were, somehow.
