Sankari
Hi all I'm after some recommendations for people who have gotten a Portrait painted of their fur kid. I would like to get one done again (previously have got someone off Ebay to do it each time) but i've noticed the quality has gone down considerably. I have thousands of photos of my Golden Retriever Charlotte I think i've chosen through a few photos which ones i will pass on to the artist. Next step is choosing the artist, having major problems deciding on who to use, what medium to have it done in and also that costs seem to be varied artist to artist. Appreciate any recommendations on who to use. Thanks in advance :D

Starkehre
Hi LC, I had these 2 beautiful paintings done of Dyzney and Jag by David Oakley, a pet portrait artist of Rivid. We just love them and will be getting one done of Fame when she is a bit more mature. These are oil pastel style, but he paints in many different medium. He did these on museum archive quality canvas and they are both 20" x 24" He also took these reference photos to work from. His photography is amazing too. If you want to view his most recent work, you can check it out here facebook.com/RividStudio Edited September 15, 2011 by dyzney
