Tay.
I'm pretty keen to go on the 16th with my Border Collie. Not too sure as we have an agility trial the day before and might not be up for an early start the next day. We'll see If we miss the 16th we'll most likely head down on the 30th. Mrs Rusty Bucket
I think I can do 16th - 8am Park Road Left/West off Port Wakefield road before Tozer St... Do we need to PM you contact details, Jacqui835? Is it worth bringing shade and chairs? And at what point does the forecast be too hot for an 8am start? My evil hound loves everybody - so I will be the one stopping her from crawling around everywhere to say hello.
Esky the husky
The 30th sounds fantastic I think I'll be up in Loxton the weekend of the 16th. Do we have to let them know?

HOT Weather Warning ~Night Before Channel 9 Nightly News—6pm If Day is advertised as 30° or Over Fun Day will be CANCELLED Mrs RB also asked about the weather... IMHO, be smart and don't go on either the 16th or the 30th if this is the weather forecast. Coming from showing, I know some people put ribbons in front of the health & welfare of their dogs where the weather is concerned. Let's be sensible about it - the dogs will be running hard and if it's hot, that's not smart. Sonia
Esky the husky
We don't race the husky if it's over 15 degrees. ASSA race policy. I'll be seriously considering it depending on forecasts Specially with my fluffball

Mrs Rusty Bucket
If the Stafford club don't start their gig until 10am ish - and we arrived at 8am ish - could we have our own run before they start? Or is one event per day enough?
Miz J
Would love to bring my 2 yr old boxer Henry, however I reckon after about 10 m he would get distracted by ... a bee, a blade of grass... and then pretend to be a gazelle on the course! Is there a category for the most entertaining antics?
Hafhafa Hounds
If the Stafford club don't start their gig until 10am ish - and we arrived at 8am ish - could we have our own run before they start? Or is one event per day enough? I don't think there'd be time. Plus, if they have an event booked, it will mean the track is closed to others for the morning. That's the feeling I got when Trevor (the lure operator) told us that we could book the track and he'd close it to others for the morning. He also said the track "closes" for racing because of summer after the last race for the season - which is on the 9th (this weekend) I think. I guess he means for the training greys. My WGSD
I will come with our Shepherd on the 16th. Will consider the 30th, but my partner is working and ours tends to get excited with other dogs and he has far more strength than me so rather than be dragged along the ground I might leave him at home and spectate. Mrs Rusty Bucket
I just have to remember which dogs are friendly. Ie I will be the one with a spotty dog that is not a dalmation saying "is your dog friendly" because mine wants to say hello to everybody, because she takes friendly to grovelly extremes.
