Interesting how the dog in question was so large they needed help to handle it . My child was attacked by a dog however when the local papers did the story they said it was a pit bull terrier. In actual fact it wasn't. Is the ODT sure it was a pit bull terrier that attacked this child? If so, how are they sure? My child was attacked by a Labarador cross. Didn't even look like a pit bull terrier yet the paper saw it best to declare war on the pit bull terrier as well as English bull terriers and Staffordshire bull terriers. Keira&Phoenix Posted September 9, 2011 Share Posted September 9, 2011 Well considering they said the dog was so big they had to have help apprehending the dog it clearly wasnt a pitbull, they are not really expected to go much over 25 kilos and come up to around your knee.
