deltoid
Thanks guys, I think we will just socialise them away from dog parks unless we find a small dog one. Our little one loved it the other day though (only her second time at a dog park). She was exhausted after her 5 minutes playing. She literally slept for close to 12 hours after having the run around. She was so exhausted. whereabouts in QLD are you deltoid? North Brisbane. We've arranged for some friends to bring their dogs over on the weekend. So that will give them 3 other dogs to play with
snippet
Our nearest dog park that is fenced is a small one in the middle of a housing estate, very few people pick up after their dogs even though their are bins provided and most just let their dogs just do what they want. So we don't go anymore.
Ladedadeda
Deltoid there is a fenced off small dog/puppy park at Ferny Hills if that is close to you with a separate entrance to both areas of the park, its just near the police station on the corner of Samford Rd and Tramway St with parking in Tramway St.
jakeyjangels
I've tried a few parks and same situation. Owners turn up with rowdy dogs and then go off and read the paper instead of watching them. A small dog dog park would be good. At least if things got out of hand they'd be similar sized dogs The dog park at Bracken Ridge has a separate puppy park attached to the main dog park. Clean, nice sheltered seating & shade. We go there all the time.

The suburb is Ferny Grove & is in the Brisbane City Council area. It's Ferny Grove Police Station right beside it. Ferny Hills is an adjacent suburb which is in the Moreton Council area.
