We had our import out of quarantine two weeks ago, and quite frankly I am releived we had no puppies, she is indeed a handful. becks Posted December 22, 2011 Share Posted December 22, 2011 Mine have been getting introduced to food this week, eating some and wearing more - funny that no one has fallen asleep in the bowl this time though. One has had a poorly tum for a few days and was getting me a bit worried and today I have seen her tucking into the food and trying to beat up the biggest pup from the older litter so she must be feeling better. I had to laugh earlier today, a couple of the big pups were having a wrestle in the whelping box and the 2 smallest were sat with their front legs hanging over the edge, looking into the box and watching the game - of course, never have a camera at the right time! I have my two fave show names just need to decide if Im running on two or just the one... atm I think there are 3 definate pets the other four are all nice but in different ways, its going to be a hard choice!!! As much as it kills me Mr Schu is looking like pet material atm... he will make someone very happy thou he is mr personality! Mercedes is def in the running :-) I was never sure what to run on from this litter and plans have changed so many times ive decided instead of basing my choice on other plans Im going to plan around my choice! I have just realised we live in the same area maybe we could say hello at the next show at Hillsborough? My babies had their health check, needles and microchipping done today and they came through with flying colours! The first of my babies goes to his new home on the 27th I hope I don't cry in front of the people. I have been so fortunate in finding such lovely homes for the boys! Our little girl is now becoming very animated and has gone from being a "blob" to walking wobbling around and my OH has found his calling as a "puppeteer" He is having a ball "face fighting" with her via the soft toys and Emmie really has a go at them. It's so cute when she growls and he makes the "siblings" growl and when she bites their ears he gently gives hers a tiny tug and bumps her with the toy, so she's not missing out on all the sibling fun and stimulation which is really important at this stage of her development.
