Saffioraire
I have my fingers and toes crossed for you Liz. I forgot to say THANK YOU for your kind offer of help. We supplemented for the first couple of days, but her milk has come in properly now and they are ALL gaining weight at a rate of knots! So I'm delighted about that, and I can get a full nights sleep again! If you need some puppy socialisation time later on we'll have our dogs at the farm over Christmas, which is in Steels Creek, so you'd be welcome to let her run around with our crazy lot! No worries Saffioraire. I have a very amusing image now of a tiny Cav playing with 11 Shepherds! As long as your sure she wont scare or intimidate them, Cavs can be a bit OTT. ;) I too am very please how Crissy milk supply is stablised with just one pup. I check her teats daily and they are full but soft so she has a good balance going on there.

becks
Some sad news, one of the pups wasn't thriving and failed to put on much weight from birth, yesterday she gave up the fight to stay here, so Amber is left with her 5.

LizT
Mr. Schu looks like a "real" dog! He's lovely. English Pointers were my Childhood Friends. We didn't have a dog when I was very little and the people next door had a Gundog confined to a enclosure made of corrugated Iron and she had a kennel, and a Prickly Pear for shelter and a water dish. But she also had five year old me, courtesy of a delapidated fence! When she had pups they kept a male and as the people were my parents landlord I got away with my little visits. I think that's where my love of dogs started.
