Atanquin
Zorro has this little bit of hair on his head that stands up and no matter what i do i can not get it to lie flat its a bit better but it can be so funny. i have tried washing it and combing it flat the only other thing i can think of is cut it but i don't want to do that any ideas? I'd suggest hand stripping it or using a coat king or clippers on it.

Crazy Daisy
Thinning scissors would work. I don't know if the teeth on a coat king would be close enough to get it very neat.
Fordogs
If it is soft undercoat hair I would pluck if not use thinning scissors and hair gel.
becks
Just pull it out in the direction of growth, a few hairs at a time making sure you keep the skin tight before pulling. Best done after a good walk when the dog is warm and sleepy.
