Cosmolo
GSP's are gundogs i'm afraid otherwise they would have been up there. Malinois are probably a bit too full on i think. Lol at the border collie too Dallies are probably a bit too similar in temperament to some of the gundog breeds. Ridgebacks not drivey enough.. Fussy i know!! I appreciate the suggestions!! Nekhbet
Malinois are not all extreme. Depends which line you go for, Amanda Russels dogs would fit the bill. The show lines have plenty of drive without that super working temperament which is too much for some people. www.malinois.net.au Mine have oodles of drive but are not a pain in the bum. You have to train them about quiet time no matter the high drive dog.

Guest Ams
Some of the more solid and less rolly shar pei may fit.
pixie_meg
a borzoi almost fits this. Despite how they look, their coat care is quite minimal. once a week brush happening at the moment and the dirt falls straight off. 30kg plus - yep short or low maintenance coat - low maintenance for sure moderate to high prey drive - absolutely Athletic, of solid build and able to be active in warm weather - mine is pretty active, doesn't mind the heat too much. they shed for summer. Generally friendly with people but slightly aloof okay - thats what mine is like. definitely human friendly.

Weasels
I was going to say dobe too. This website might give some ideas in the size wanted - http://www.brunswickcentralvet.com.au/weight-ideal-bodyweight-range-for-your-dog-breed

SkySoaringMagpie
If a Ridgeback is not drivey enough (which is a bit odd, having seen Erny's boy), then maybe a well bred Dobe? I am discounting all the sighthounds because you want both solid build (rules out the hot weather tolerant like Ibizans) and hot weather tolerant (rules out the solid build like Wolfhounds)
