OSoSwift
I feed Black Hawk along with other stuff, like bones, meat sardines, yoghurt etc. Nice firm poops with little smell, they haven't put on much weight but they were on a good food prior to BH anyway. WreckitWhippet
best cheapest for my dog was enduro brand, followed by bonnie, followed by uncle albers. Yes, mine did well on Enduro but the place where I got it from doesn't have it any more Uncle Albers didn't agree with my fussy miss midget (she hates Royal Canin too so Uncle Albers shouldn't feel slighted) Not tried Bonnie, may do so yet. Using Black Hawk at the moment but I find it puts on too much weight (have adjusted the quantities) instead of muscle. That's what I found. I couldn't keep them hard, even though they continued with the 5k's a day and swimming twice a week. They went backwards and started to look like soft pets. JulesP
That's interesting mine lost weight on Black Hawk. Amber also had allergy issues on it, fairly sure it was the brewers yeast. The dry food they all did the best on was Supercoat Sensitive. And that was over - Advance, ProPlan, Artemis, Canidae, Black Hawk, Uncle Albers, Natures Gift, Evo, California Natural and Eagle Pack. Guest english.ivy
Another Black Hawk user. My two do well on it. Tried many and most either gave them the runs or were just too expensive. BH sits perfectly in the middle for my pockets. My Belgian has a shine on her coat even in the shade, her coat has turned lush on BH. My Pointer is the same. They also rmb etc.
OSoSwift
MIne are in lovely hard condition and don't run to fat at all. They do get quite a bit of exercise but they look just as good if not better as they did on their other food.

Starkehre
We have been feeding Black Hawk since early this year on our 3 Rottweilers - pup, young adult and veteran and we are thrilled with it.
