Alex is such a cutie!!

I've met very out there ones  who are very busy!! These were females though and I personally find females of many breeds more busy than the big goofy boys :D The boys are lovely, they are a wonderful breed, ....so many great breeds, so little time :laugh:

I've not been to NZ but Alex may tempt me!

Anytime Monah, just hope you can cope with 6 dogs and lots of walks!

Oh my Alex is stunning! How big do they grow?

Between 21 ½ and 26 ½ ins as per NZ and Aussie Breed standard,Alex is bang on 25 in at the moment and has just turned 10 months old last week. He is nearly 30kgs now.

Here are a few more pics. Alex and his big brothers and staring out to sea.

He has been here just over a month but it really seems like he has always been here. All 6 of them piled up on my King Size bed, laying all over each other.

They are such good boys.

Tomas, Alex is lovely. Like many I have a really curious attachment to this breed. the gentle goofy expression, their elasic gait, they are stunning. Good luck with him!

Thanks SparkyTansy ,if I can replicate the movement and stands I have seen him do he will do well. But he has never been shown, though taken to shows for socialising in Hungary. Where he did better each time he went.

It will take him a few show weekends to get comfortable. Braccos are not great initially when encountering stuff. But 2nd-4th time,no issues. He is being shown the ropes by my experienced showdogs,so he will get it.

Meant to add,I did too,met my first in 2002 after only seeing them in books.

I was not disppointed when I first saw him in Quarantine,he has such a gentle comical soul if that makes sense.

They really are a breed that could take off....

I so hope this breed takes off. I fell in love with the Bracco when I was doing research for my essay on the Bracco for judges training. If/when I pass gundogs I hope I get the chance to judge them

Well the girl that has arrived comes out of jail in a few days,so you should get your chance soon....

Did you find anything interesting out in your research?

Can you post your essay? Or is that not the done thing?

Hi Tomas,

ffire photography took lots of phots of Viva on the weekend, so go to her fb page or website I'm sure you'll find them. Cheers

Thanks showpony,I have seen many pictures of Viva as she grew.

Alex and Viva are closely related. Their sire(Viva) and dam (Alex) are littermates.
