Kiara&Heidi Posted August 12, 2011 Share Posted August 12, 2011 (edited) I use it after antibiotics, worming, illness etc. To figure out the size I sort of just estimate the average human weight in comparison to the weight of the dog, since people are supposed to have 1 a day. With that said, I don't think you can really overdo it (correct me if I'm wrong though) One capsule lasts my 800g Chi puppy about 2 weeks lol (could probably stretch it out even more), but with my Staffy I just give her a whole one. Doesn't seem to have done them any harm. Just wanted to give them a few days worth as one of my girls tested positive for giaria and now has tested positive for selmonella, although she has no symptoms, so just trying to get her back on track and thought it wouldnt hurt the other 3 either. Thanks for the replies! I really don't think you can over-do it tlc. I use the powder form rather then the capsules and dose for my large dog is around half to one teaspoon per day, however I've slipped more than once and he's got much, much more than that.
