Best In Show

A random question after watching best in show. Are their dogs actually good examples of their breed? I've never seen a Norwich terrier other than in photos and haven't really spent much time with shih tzus either, so wouldn't have a clue if they were just "that" breed, or actually good examples, capable of winning best in group and best in show

Aside from the serious question, I just wanted to say - I love that show :)

The Shetland Sheepdog in the "in show" line up at the end was a Canadian/American Champion - am trying to remember who the breeder was.

Being an ex Bloodhound breeder/owner - the dog is a great example of the breed and had done a lot of winning in the USA.

Im pretty sure they would have used great examples of all the breeds in the movie.

I thought the Standard Poodle was fairly ordinary. For all I know its done a lot of winning but it didn't rock my boat. It was no Treson, that's for sure.

Agree with that, Poodlefan - all Standard Poodles are beautiful, of course :D but I've seen better-looking ones in the showring here!
