j
A random question after watching best in show. Are their dogs actually good examples of their breed? I've never seen a Norwich terrier other than in photos and haven't really spent much time with shih tzus either, so wouldn't have a clue if they were just "that" breed, or actually good examples, capable of winning best in group and best in show Aside from the serious question, I just wanted to say - I love that show
poodlefan
I thought the Standard Poodle was fairly ordinary. For all I know its done a lot of winning but it didn't rock my boat. It was no Treson, that's for sure. Edited August 2, 2011 by poodlefan
merijigs
The movie lists the full names of the dogs in the credits at the end of the movie. Perhaps you could do a Google search to see how prominent those dogs names, and their breeders' prefix names are.

Huntia
What a coincidence. I watched Best in Show for the first time since starting to show myself!! I found myself getting quite annoyed at the Weim's owners!!

WreckitWhippet
I've been seen frequently running around ring side, desperately trying to locate Mr Squeaky... I so totally understand the kind of meltdowns that occur when the favourite toy goes missing

dancinbcs
I lurved the bloodhound Me too. Stunning dog. Some of the others were very nice dogs as well but the Bloodhound was the standout.

Beauie
Being an ex Bloodhound breeder/owner - the dog is a great example of the breed and had done a lot of winning in the USA. Im pretty sure they would have used great examples of all the breeds in the movie.
