I tried to get whatever was in his mouth out but couldn't find anything and now I can't find the back of my earring. Will it do any damage if he has swallowed it? MissMedusa Posted August 1, 2011 Share Posted August 1, 2011 I don't think you should worry...6 weeks ago my lab pup hasd eaten a pair of my glasses including the lenses and also swallowd my eternity ring and suffered no ill effects whatsoever. SammieS Posted August 2, 2011 Share Posted August 2, 2011 Ast Asti ate the whole stud earring! I thought I'd droppe it on the carpet but couldn't find it so she came along and snuffled it up! We went to the inlaws house with Asti who 'left a present' for them in their front yard. Didn't come back up. Ten minutes later, I found the bandage under the couch - she'd stolen it and dropped it when I started chasing her but I didn't see her drop it. I felt so bad!
