Martingale Collars

Ok I did a search but so many sites are no longer viable, so I thought I'd ask here for current web sites that sell martingale collars suitable for a greyhound and if they happen to sell coats that would be good too. No half martingales and no chain, thanks

I have anniek's greyhound safety net site but want a couple more to send the links to some puppy buyers.

eta all sites here and OS

I don't have any Aussie ones sorry. I've never found really nice ones here. Blackdog ones have chains which are a no-no on our coats. I like fabric, with nice solid fittings and construction, and satin linigs.

I buy from Regal Hound Designs in Canada. Offshore yes, but great collars and prices, and a % from each to Greyhound rescue in Canada. You can get even better deals from them on ebay - joetriever is the ebay ID I think...

AND you can custom choose your colour!! :D

Hi :)

I buy mine from http://www.stepaheadcollars.com/

Her name is Sue and she makes the best Martingales for Hounds

She is from Canada tho but not too expensive for the best quality! I paid $45AUD for a cool 2inch collar including shipping.

The Blackdog sighthound collars definitely don't have chain. I've got four greyhounds wearing them right now :p

But anyway..

I dunno.

I have a couple of "pretty" ones that I bought a while back but I really only use the Blackdog ones now so haven't bought fabric collars for ages. Those prices do seem about average though for the fabric collars, from what I can recall.

Edited to add..

Used to have more links but now I can't find them

thanks people for the links so far, but I am after proper martingale collars not the type from black dog and definitely no chain. It's the owners money I'll put in the overseas links as well. :D

This lady is in Canada and makes leads custom to what you want.

http://hitidekangarooleads.shawwebspace.ca/

I have quite a few of her leads and they are brilliant. I have not seen a leather braided lead here in Australia made to the same quality as hers. They are also priced competitively.

Some of her leads look a bit fragile - but they are braided around a strong double 100lb core - so are tested for really strong animals. She can also braid a thicker lead if required. Martingdales to what ever measurements you need.

Try Greyhound adoption program GAP NSW:

http://www.gapnsw.org.au

Their martingales are really reasonable, they have small ones, (my Whippets have them) so suitable sizing for smaller necks of pups etc. They also have coats

As far as I know, they're the Kumalong collars which you can actually buy directly from the Kumalong website- http://www.kumalongshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=29
