matilda1
Thanks all. The dogs had a blast. I have a NIKON D70 but really do not know how to use it yet. I am waiting for my photography book to arrive in the mail so I can stop using the AUTO setting

Kirislin
Thanks all. The dogs had a blast. I have a NIKON D70 but really do not know how to use it yet. I am waiting for my photography book to arrive in the mail so I can stop using the AUTO setting congrats on the new camera, the dogs are obviously very happy there. didn't the camera come with a manual, sometimes they're not written very well for a beginner to understand but they're still a good start to get to know your camera. I used to mine to take mine to bed and read it there before I nodded off to sleep. Edited July 16, 2011 by Kirislin
matilda1
Thanks Kirislin. Yes it came with a good manual, and I have also purchased a beginners guide book to my camera and DSLR photography. Just waiting for it to arrive in the mail. ;) Edited July 16, 2011 by matilda1

SmoothieGirl
Well I'm very jealous of your photos even if you are still on Auto. They look fabulous, my fav is that first shot. Nice mix of sand and water with your lovely pooch and that shadow. That would be framed and put in the pool room if it was one of my dogs.
chelle_k81
You have done a great job, even being on auto. Some people don't realise they need to move around and position themselves to take a great photo, you seem to have it.Very nice!!!!
