persephone
She didnt give me an exact type she saw that he had some hair loss on the side of him and said he had mites. I would suggest another vet! there are two types of mange mites.. usually a skin scraping is done, and mites can then be viewed by the vet. I would hesitate to recommend anything for you to use until you have a DEFINITE diagnosis .

Elise+Hudson
Hairloss can be caused by a variety of things.. Mites are one cause but other common causes of hairloss I see is ringworm, superficial pyoderma (infection) and can also be caused by more serious conditions such as auto-immune diseases and hormonal/metabolic issues.
