germanshepherdlove
I have recently switched a dog onto Eagle Pack Holistic Select or Holistic Select as it is now known. Is anyone still using it? After I purchased a bag of the lamb one, a friend mentioned that it has changed from what it once was and when the company was sold the food quality went down. I was frustrated to hear this as this dog is very fussy but really liked the Eagle Pack. I realise that the company has had supply issues as my friend has warned me, however my local pet stock had multiple backs of the full range so I am not interested in hearing about supply issues. If you are still using it, are you happy with it? What are your dog's coats like?
Kajtek
We use it. It's the best dry food for my dogs.
kelpiechick
Using it when I can get it - the supply appears to be an ongoing problem and is very annoying. When I can't get it I use Artemis - coat is not as good when feeding this and I notice the difference when I go back to EP.
Frodo's mum
I feed mine EPH anchovy, sardine and salmon and they love it I haven't had any issues with supply ...touch wood can also keep a bag spare just in case coats are looking great, I'm really pleased with it

White Shepherd mom
Frodo's Mum, can I ask what you polish your dogs with please? ;) To answer the question, yes, I feed Senior dog Eagle Pack Hollistic. Have no idea if anything has changed but I'm happy with it. Mind you I can't say I noticed a huge difference between that and the IAMS I used to feed them. Bella's coat does seem shinier but I don't know if it is because of that or the fishy cat kibble I throw on the lawn for her to forage every day. ridgiemum
We use Holistic Select Large Breed adult for Holly our Rhodesian Ridgeback, her coat is nice & shiny, love it, would not use anything else, we have tried RC, Nutro & had to feed almost double. JulesP
Yep use it. Use the Duck one. If anything I would say the feed seems fresher now. I also use the cat version.
MavericksMission
Maverick gets Eagle Pack Holistic. His coat is really shiny and it is one of the only kibbles he will actually eat. We did use Nutro when they were having supply issues and the results just weren't as nice as EPH.

kazads
My boxer and two great danes use HS Duck and sometimes the anchovy one too, depending on supply. This is the only kibble they eat all up, no complaints, no leftovers, they love it!!! They are healthy, shiny coats and don;t need to be fed as much. Highly recommend it - just think ahead when you need more in case supply runs low locally, but I have always managed to source supplies online. luckypup
Yep i use it and will keep using it until they no longer exist. i know there have been supply issues but honestly it hasnt effected me being able to buy, as Robbos seems to always have the size and flavour bags i get whenever i go there. I get the chicken and the lamb HS and my dog does amazingly on it! ive never had ANY problems with his skin and coat, in fact i always get commended on it. so i will stick to it until i no longer can
