I had no idea that it was so widely done... the sheer number of farms...

I have put this topic in here as no doubt this would upset people who choose not to read about such things.

Hmm, that's all well and good but they are still being killed inhumanely.

No doubt that may be the case on some farms, but there isn't enough in the article to gauge how the killing is taking place. Of course, being dog lovers on this forum, it is something we prefer wasn't happening at all.

Unfortunately, I think it's all pretty much done the same across the board.
