cass_06 Posted June 28, 2011 Share Posted June 28, 2011 I was wondering on breeders advice. I have a 3 year old bitch who i mated today to successful sire. Bitch has been mated before and had 2 puppies to same sire. The mating done today was quite long (1 hr) is long for my breed and this bitch. Bitch hasn't been her normal self since mating and won't walk very far. I know she could be sore but isn't even eating. The stud dog had problem last time mating to this bitch but today didn't have trouble at all... Thanks Rebanne, wow 75 minutes, thats long.... I am worried because bitch just laying around and won't eat, have tried hand feeding her etc and won't touch anything... Thanks for asking Alyosha, it is only small breed so don't want 12 pups but same sire did sire a litter the other day to 9 pups but to a much bigger bitch as well as had 3 30 min ties. My girl recovered after a day or so, went to do another mating and she came out of season LOL...
