sheena
Can anybody recommend a free web page design service that is "user friendly" & doesn't drive you crazy with lots of adds & pop ups etc. I would like to put one together for my dogs (just for fun) plus we are going to be distributing Black Hawk dog food & thought it might be handy to have a bit of a web page with links to other sites. It would have to be fairly simple software as I am definately not a tech-head. Edited August 16, 2011 by sheena

sheena
Thanks guys for the suggestions. I have looked into both Google & Weebly. Not having ever done this before, it seems that they say the web page is free but then they want money for you to use it. Is this the way it is or am I missing something
**Super_Dogs**
I used Yola to create my site. Super easy The tech support is very good. I did pay as I also brought a domain name. It only cost me a total of just under $100 for an ungrade to the website template and 2 years for the domain name. I thought this was really cheap!! I think the prices have gone up alittle recently though. Edited July 8, 2011 by buddy1

Bilbo Baggins
Weebly is great very easy to use. I bought the .org.au nmaes from hostingbay $34(or close to) for 2 years.
fuzzy82
There is also www.freesites.com.au. The designs are nice, and you get your own domain name, very easy to use. Thing is, you pay for the domain registration and hosting, but the design templates and content manager are free.
sheena
Get a DOL one $82.50 per year including a .com domain name. You can even do a 30day free trial to see if you like it. Info here Thanks Sway....I would like to do one with DOL, but having a read, it seems I have to be a registered breeder. I just want one to showcase my lovely dogs, their activities & promote the clubs etc that we belong to. Both my dogs are on limited register so I am not a breeder or exhibitor. I would dearly love to do the DOL one, is there a way around this.
becks
Webs.com is the one I use for my website (mine is paid for to get the domain and no adverts on the site) but for a basic, easy to use and free site it is the one I go back to as the others mentioned above don't make sense to me. Zayenah
Webs.com is the one I use for my website (mine is paid for to get the domain and no adverts on the site) I use webs.com as well and upgraded to remove ads, very easy to use, I have a lot of hidden linked pages which works much better for me than some places which only allow a set number of pages
Bjelkier
I was using webs for awhile but have recently switched to weebly which I find to be much better.
espinay2
Not free but I love and use www.breederoo.com Great service and they make things very easy particularly if you have limited knowledge of HTML. Even computer numpties like me can put together and easily maintain a reasonable website. Lots of features too. sheena
Well, I think I have almost finished my web site. It will probably never be finished as I will be adding to it as time goes by. Feel free to take a peek & give me feedback. Was fun to do, but, geeze, it took a lot of time. :D http://oz.dogs.net.au/chocolateborders/default.asp
