Ivomec

Hi, I posted about a week ago about my 2 dogs, great dane cross, and bull mastiff, still scratching and after 3 scrapings at the vet, he found the mange today on the bull mastiff, so both have had an ivomec injection.

My question is, is it safe. They are still scratching tonight, getting baths every week wtih malaseb, and also a mite wash which is left on them.

They are both on cortisone as well. 20 mg day.

Does anyone have any suggestions about what else i can put on them to stop scratching.

I am also washing all their bed clothes daily, and going crazy. Thank you. I can post some photos up of them of what they normally look like, and photos later of what they currently look like.

It will take time for the ivomec to start to kill off the mites.

Most just dose the animal with oral ivomec.

When you say mange, do you mean Demodex or Sarcoptes (Scabies)?
