Such A Lovely Future Puppy Owner

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

So my litter of puppies will be 5 weeks old Tomorrow & some of my future puppy owners have started to visit to pick out their puppy.

I had a lovely family here yesterday (2 gorgeous little girls & their mum )& I was very pleasantly surprised when they handed me a lovely bunch of flowers & some choccies to thank me for all the hard work I'm putting into raising & looking after their puppy. :) They then gave Brandy ( the mother of the pups ) a brand new squeeky toy to thank her aswell. :)

I just thought it was a lovely gesture & it really made my day... The only thing I ask from my puppy owners is the promise they will provide a good home for the puppy & I certainly don't ask or expect any thanks for raising the litter, but it did feel nice that they recognise that raising a litter isn't easy & its alot of hard work,...& they made Brandy & myself feel very appreciated. :)

What a lovely lovely thing to do!!!!

I am actually quite taken aback and it didn't even happen to me! lol That's is such a nice gesture!

And if they put that kind of thought and care into their pup I am sure they will be GREAT! owners!!!

Really nice thing to hear!!

Yes it was very lovely...& I couldn't resist sharing it here...It was just so nice that in all their excitement of picking out a new puppy that they remembered & recognised the hard work I'm putting in...& I just know they are going to make perfect caring owners, makes me feel so happy. :)

Lovely, thoughtful idea :)

I didn't give my breeder anything other than money when I picked up Brennan. However the breeder likes for her pups owners to return around the dogs First birthday so she can have a look. When I took Brennan I took her a photo of Brennan at One years old and I also took my photo album and let her look through at her growing up. She was really surprised that she got to keep the photo of Brennan. However I am eternally grateful to her because with out her work ( and boy is she one hard-working woman) and of course the Sire and Dam then I would not have my beautiful girl :)

Oh wow, how lovely! People often think breeders just let the dogs together, then 9 weeks later, hooray puppies.

It's nice to see you get appreciated for your hard work... and it is that... hard work!

That's a lovely story.

Not only is that family thoughtful, but they're on to something! The thought & love & care that goes into breeding/raising puppies is priceless. It sets the pup's development on a strong base for a great adult dog. What a nice way to say 'Thank you!'....chocs & flowers.

It is a lovely thought.

I recieved flowers and a card (written by the "rescue girls) Thanking me for looking after them and their babies from their new mum Lorraine when they came to take them home. Perfect home for two very special girls.

Yes I thought it was very thoughtful of them to realise that dog breeding & raising a litter is very hard work....& even though I don't expect or ask for it, it does feel nice when you get a lovely thank you like that. :)

One of my pet people, when they picked their puppy up brought a Beagle Diary. Their daughter had seen it and said they had to get it for me. :-) They also brought a bag of treats for Chloe, their pups mum..... :)
