Evolving
I have just returned from a camping trip to Mount Gambier. In the last few days there was a influx of spiders who flew in and put their webs up everywhere. The Dogs loved running though the webs.

B-Q
Wow, incredible. I heard of something similar happening China (?) because teh floods had brought in insects so that brought in spiders. Ahh... the circle of life.

Kirty
Wow that is so amazing! Actually we were at Lillydale Lake today and they were strands of web flying through the air everywhere. It was really bizarre. Must be a similar sort of thing. New spideys setting off to make new homes.

Sooky
Wow and your pics make it look lovely, we're off to mount gambier camping in October and if that happens when we're there I'm outta there!!! How big were the spiders?
whiskedaway
They were only teensy - maybe a cm at most. The webs started appearing late Sunday then we started seeing the spiders Monday so they weren't there until the end of the weekend. I was very glad I was going home after the show on Monday, because I could not have slept another night there knowing they were all around! Don't know how Evolving and Tobster managed that last night!
