Does the vet (where she currently is) have the ability and instruments to check if she has a ulcer (or some other stomach trouble).......I hope she is ok to whelp!! cowanbree Posted April 24, 2011 Share Posted April 24, 2011 Cowan was on Carafate on an empty stomach to line it and losec to reduce stomach acid. I doubt the Carafate would do any harm to the pups but the losec might. He was also fasted for 72hrs, not something I would do to an inwhelp bitch. He very nearly died and is only alive today because I took him on a 16hr round trip to get to the right vet. Is it possible to put her on the plane? auto Posted April 24, 2011 Author Share Posted April 24, 2011 (edited) still at the vet he is treating for stomic ulers and food posioning she has vomited nearly all day but very little blood :D witch is good i think.. i will talk to the vet again in the morning.. But she is jorndus ( carnt spell) white of eyes are a bit yellow today. vet is doing a liver test this arvo. Thanks every one for your held and healing thought. I will keep you all posted.
