Police were called to a house at Eschol Park about 3.30 yesterday afternoon following reports of a domestic dispute. They found a red cattle dog dead in the back yard. A 38-year-old man's been charged with torturing beating and killing an animal and animal cruelty. In an unrelated incident a dog was fatally stabbed 11 times at Merrylands in Sydney's west on Thursday.
