Snow White
Hi there! Just wondering if anyone knows of anyone that is good at stripping Schnauzers or Terriers in WA??? ...or if all else fails, if there are any really good clippers for these breeds? Many thanks! :D
Dogsfevr
You will find it near impossible to get someone to hand strip a Schnauzer for you(depending on the size) If you have a Std Schnauzer there coats are generally easier to roll & if you happy to put in the hours each week the coat can look great. Minis are alot harder to roll so to hand strip successfully is done over 6 weeks . It doesn't come cheap either Most terriers have a fairly easy coat to roll/maintain . There are 2/3 Schnauzer breeders that do groom the breed as they should look

Yeah, we have a mini schnauzer that was stripped by the breeder in QLD but she is growing out quite a bit and my mum finds it difficult to keep up with (she is way to gentle and only pulls out a couple of hairs at a time)! The breeder recommended that some of the scottie people strip best but if there is someone that knows how to do the schnauzers properly that would be super! ...do you know their details? Thanks heaps!
