samoyedman
My new place has an area outside the main door where my dog likes to lie down. Its partially exposed to the weather so I am looking to get a waterproof dog bed. Can anyone recommend one?

Danois
http://www.rrruff.com.au/senior_dog_mats.html (scroll down) - they have a DOL banner ad. Snooza do them too - the D1000 is good -and the Durobed.

KumaAkita
We got Kuma a Bono Fido Stay Dry Futon for his kennel. It's made of rip-stop nylon and seems to be doing a good job! Bono Fido Website Oh, and they're in a good price range too - we bought the largest one they sell and it was about $65 (or thereabouts...)
Maddy
We got our dogs a Hound House and although it costs a bit more than just a flat trampoline bed, it's been well worth the money. The cover is made of canvas so it can be re-proofed to keep it waterproof and you can buy weather flaps to keep the rain out (although I don't think I've ever seen the inside of ours wet anyway). The base of the trampoline bit is a thick mesh so even if the mat got wet, it'd likely dry out very quickly. http://www.houndhouse.com.au/ They're $200+ from the manufacturer (if you get the larger ones) but if you check Ebay, you can sometimes get them there (new) for about $175.
